As June arrives a lot has been going on here at The Fox Inn, we have been working hard to get our refurbished mini kitchen ready for its official opening in July which will be on Norfolk Day which is on Friday the 27th, the official opening will involve our local MP, local councillors, businesses and members of our local community as well as our grant funding partners “pub is the Hub “, more on this later.
But back to June we have worked hard to refurbish the garden (waiting for the seed to come through fingers crossed ) & car park areas which are looking good, we have extended the bar so it is now open its full length exposing the 2 original 16th century window openings, all this work has been carried out and completed by our supporters and volunteers, and is to prepare us for our
2nd Annual Beer Festival ( see separate blog).
We have our regular street food sellers coming along on the Saturdays, when writing this we are organising Clare Ice Creams to come along also to complement them, we start off with and welcome back Natural Born Grillers who went down really well on there first visit in April, followed by Sean from Pizza Tree, then the always popular Jen & Panni from Souvlaki Shack, we then welcome one of our new street food sellers Tasty Thailand who are a Thai street food seller who are locally based in Thetford, we have herd great things about these guys, can’t wait.
Then on the last Sunday of the month we have our regular Classic Vehicle meet up where you can come along have a drink & a chat with like minded people and show of you vehicles.
The end of the month see’s the return of our 2nd Annual Beer Festival On the Friday, Saturday & Sunday 29th, 30th & 1st July. It’s going to be a good one.
