“Garboldisham By The Sea”

“Garboldisham By The Sea”

This coming weekend looks like it’s going to be a busy one for us here at the Fox inn Garboldisham, we have some great street food pop ups with us….

Friday it’s Ian & his team from I B The Chippy who will be serving all our customers his delicious  fish & chips from 5.30 onwards.

Then on sat it’s the turn of Sean & his team from Pizza Tree who will be serving his delicious Paella, he usually does 3 types, fish, meat & vegetarian again serving from 5.30….

All weekend we be having a display of old post cards from the early part of the 20th century all to do with the seaside called “When the fat lady swims” or “Garboldisham by the Sea” this exhibition organised by our friend Jonathan & will be on all this weekend & next weekend, a bit of fun for all, see some of the photos for a sneak preview….

We have some cracking local real ales & ciders this weekend from breweries local to Norfolk & Suffolk, Lacons,  Elmtree Beers, Mr Winters, Humpty Dumpty Brewery, Wild Craft Breweing & Woodfordes Brewery & let’s not forget our real ideas from Harleston Brewery….

We have set out all the pubs tables & chairs both inside & outside to adhere to the government guidelines on social distancing, we have also put In place a 1 way queuing system for entering & leave the pub, along with sanitiser station’s around the pub & gardens, we also have glass drop off points to save you bringing your empties back inside. We also have a Track & Trace sign in system st up for when you enter the pub. We want to make your visit to us both friendly & safe for you, your group also to ensure our volunteers are working in a safe environment, we will also have a Fox Friend on hand to guide you through the new set up & explains the new procedures should you wish.

Are you interested in supporting us here at The Fox inn as we are on the look out for some extra volunteers, if you are interested in volunteering some of your time to support us opening the bar we would love to see you.

A number of our volunteers are still self isolating and others fall into the vulnerable group category, so we are finding it difficult to open as often as we would like to.

Full training will be given & you will be supported by working with volunteers who are able to assist you In serving & show you all our front of house responsibilities. If you feel you can offer support please contact us via our social media sites….

Thank you
